Dennis Tool Company manufactures a complete line of high performance PDC products for fixed cutter drill bits. Using  advanced engineering and materials technology, Dennis Tool Company continues to push the performance limits of PDC cutters  used to drill increasingly harder, more abrasive, and interbedded formations. 

Proprietary microwave sintered carbide substrates are utilized to support the diamond layer and have enabled Dennis Tool Company to offer carbide substrate grades that are optimized specifically for PDC cutter applications. This has resulted in exceptional downhole performance not possible with conventional carbide materials. Erosion resistance and impact strength of the PDC substrates have been significantly improved.

In-house manufacturing of  microwave sintered carbide has also reduced the  development time of new interface geometries.  Patented non-planar interface geometries are developed using sophisticated FEA modeling and stress analysis. maximize diamond content and improve the impact strength of the overall cutting structure.

In addition to standard cylindrical geometries, Dennis Tool specializes in the manufacture of special geometries and  proprietary  customer-specific parts manufactured either to Dennis Tool Company or customer owned patents and designs.
